Hemp Seed Oil

Description: Certified Organic Hemp Seed Virgin Oil

Botanical Name: Cannabis Sativa

Extraction Method: Cold Pressing.

Plant Part: Seeds

Description: Hemp seed oil is rich in Linoleic (alpha-linolenic acid), high in Omega fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids) and proteins. It makes a fantastic cosmetic grade oil due to its nutrients, and it's highly nourishing and moisturising for the skin. Unlike hash oil which is made from the bud and leaves of the cannabis plant, hemp seed oil has a far lower THC content (tetrahydrocannabinol) making it unlikely to be psychoactive. Although the association it has with illegal Cannabis, tends to reduce its popularity. It is currently being more readily explored by progressive cosmetic manufacturing and users.

Color: Deep Green to the point of looking Black

Aromatic Description: Hemp Oil has little scent characteristic of carrier oils, but contains a grassy odour.

Common Uses: Hemp is becoming a popular oil, though only through pioneers in the cosmetic field.

Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Absorption: Hemp is readily absorbed.
